About me

My mum has always been painting. When I was little, I took her brush and added a flower bud to her painting, while she had gone to get a cup of tea. Obviously, my addition looked out of place! She looked at it and praised me. 

She said that we did the painting together. That was the moment I realised that I feel comfortable to have a go at what I don't know! She inspired me to be creative. My art comes from my heart. It makes me happy. I hope it makes you happy too. 

I have a daughter whom I love dearly. I worked in the hospital as Research Admin Assistant. Retired in May 2023. So have plenty of time now to paint! Such a joy. Still work part time as ophthalmic technician in the hospital. So have plenty of time now to paint! Such a joy. My partner and I live in the country side where I get most of my inspiration from. I paint using alcohol ink and acrylic. paint. I do felting too. Recently started making jewellery with beads and resin. One thing that I am experimenting with is painting on pieces of tree bark.
